Feigenbaum's World: I'm starting a school in my home for pre-k aged children and I'd like your input. Any parents or people that have or...

The school will be part-time and 5 days a week for 3 hours a day. There will be a choice of AM or PM classes and only six students to a class- so very low classroom size which means more one-on-one time with your kids. The curriculum will be heavy on the language arts side with it being woven into every subject (which is pretty natural when you think about it), but I will also be teaching math, science, art, and social development. There will be learning centers and projects. I am a certified EC-4th grade teacher and I am also certified in ESL so if English is your child’s second language, I can adjust my teaching style to accommodate your child. I teach through activities that are fun and age appropriate for the students. Those activities could be in the form of games, songs, re-enactments of stories we’ve read together, and more. Snack time will be provided during class as well. Now for your input:

  1. Would you value a service like this?
  2. Where would you look for a service like this? (Basically where should I advertise)
  3. How much would you be willing to pay for this service? (just give me amount per day)

I would really appreciate any input on this. You would actually be helping me get a little closer to accomplishing the work I’ve always dreamed of doing. I’m trying to brainstorm ideas for a Star Trek podcast serial that I am slowly but surely initializing the warp core for. I’m thinking it’ll be set during the last months of the Dominion War, but beyond that I have no idea what to write about. I’m more than happy to take plot suggestions, character ideas, or even concept art. I just want to avoid intersecting with canon characters wherever possible so as to avoid the headache of casting people to play iconic roles outside of perhaps the occasional cameo.

Sexual Minority Research Survey

For her grad school dissertation, my therapist Christina is running an anonymous online survey about individuals who identify as a sexual minority.

To complete this survey, individuals must be at least eighteen, identify as non-heterosexual (so anything from homosexual to pansexual to asexual), and be employed for fifteen or more hours per week.

It’s okay to not answer questions if they don’t pertain to you (there were some that talked about sexual attraction and didn’t include a lack of sexual attraction specifically and not answering them didn’t stop me from continuing the survey).

It’d be really awesome if you took this survey or signal boosted it. The flyers she’s put around campus have been torn down and defaced & she really needs all the participants she can get.

So, I am unemployed right now, I look for work EVERY DAY. In a combination of handing out CVs and applying online. But currently, like half a million other people are doing the same here.

I get welfare payments, but because I juat moved they have to be transferred over to a new office and that is taking forever.

I have ten euro to my name and a grand total of 3 euro in my bank account. Why am I telling you this? Well, I need your help.
