I think a lot of people think that to be strong, you have to be completely independent and never show weakness and fight all of your battles by yourself. And that’s not true. Even the strongest people have others to lean on. Friends to hug, parents to make them dinner, and acquaintances to wish them a good day.
It’s okay to ask for help, or to ask someone to give you a big hug because you feel so much weight on your shoulders you need someone to share the load. That’s all okay. You are important, and loved.
Dear people of tumblr I need your help!
So if you’re like me, sometimes your online friends are having a hard time, and being miles and miles away you feel there is very little you can do to cheer them up. This blog is a solution to that problem.
So here’s how this blog works:
1. You or someone submits a url.
2. We post one url a day from our submissions
3. Everyone who follows this blog sends them something nice. It could be a nice message or a funny video or some pretty art or anything that is generally happy making. We will just stuff that persons inbox full of happy.
But here’s the deal. I need lots of help to make this thing work. So please reblog and get the word out! And maybe follow?
And if you see someone who needs some cheering up submit their url! Even if it’s you! I don’t care.
I’ve gotten a small handful of new followers (HELLO!) and this project still needs some help so I’m reposting it!

Today I finished reading the Pathfinder Game Mastery Guide…
It was one of the most helpful books I’ve ever read concerning such subjects. It was WAY better than the DM Guide for 3.5. I would describe it as “your little helper manual”. Basically it told me everything I could want to know about anything.
There is a section about how to deal with difficult players (and it sorts them by common types) and a second about how to deal with difficult player situations, like a flake or character death… things like that.
There is also a massive section on world building. Even if you don’t play Pathfinder I highly suggest reading it if you can get your hands on it just for the world building tips. It covered everything from planes, to types of governments, societies and how to create topography, time and entire universes. It’s AMAZINGLY helpful, especially for beginners.
Have trouble making items, or NPC’s or towns? No problems here! The book gives you a fuck ton of tips on how to do that too. It also comes with charts and generators for nearly everything you could think of needing it for, and some you wouldn’t expect.
The book is a great read too, honestly. I sat down and read the thing cover to cover and had a hard time putting it down. It was written in a fun and engaging style that makes it less of a chore and more of something you want to do.
I highly recommend the book to anybody who runs a game. There are a lot of tips in it that can be applied to nearly any tabletop game and some great ideas and shortcuts for GM use. <3
