I like how I managed to spam my own inbox with an iphone giveaway

Oh good, someone else got those too. I like how they claim to be from the staff, yet there’s nothing on the staff Tumblr about it. These spammers do realize that people can and do check that thing, right?

But the spam came from me

it was like yokothetypo submitted ___

I know, I got the same ones. I think they spoofed it somehow.

If you submit something without being logged in to an account, then you type in whatever name and email address you want. That’s why it’ll say something like “[your url]staff@tumblr.com” for an email address after the name.
